Two’s a party, three’s a crowd.
Or something like that.
Whatever, there’s now a crowd of Peachtree State football players who have committed to Florida- in one month.
I thought the University of Florida was in Gainesville. You know, Gainesville FLORIDA.
Not Gainesville Georgia.
But it does seem that UF is really located in Georgia after today’s jackpot hit.
Quinteze Williams has committed to Florida, according to Chip Towers of the Atlanta Journal Constitution.
He is a defensive end known for his incredible athleticism and- wait, why don’t you just watch here and tell me what you think?
So, after watching, we can also agree on one other thing- he knows exactly what’s going to happen two seconds before it happens. He’s got fantastic vision and is there to blow up a play. In fact, did anybody else notice that when he “guesses” on a play, some of his teammates follow him? That’s because they trust his awesome instincts, and more often than not, they are proven correct.
Jafar Mann is a good player. This guy is an ESPNU 150 Watch List Player, as is Mike Davis.
So the Gators now have a hat trick of above average players from the state that a year ago saw many of its best players headed to Athens- two of them being the top 150 players in the nation, as of now.
If Jafar Mann indeed had a hand in this like he hinted, then UGA is in serious trouble. If Muschamp continues raiding the state of Georgia at this rate, not only will Georgia have zero shot at a Dream Team in 2012, but Florida will have that Dream Team themselves and Georgia will be left with the JUCOs and the rare recruits overlooked or ignored by Georgia Tech, Alabama, Auburn and South Carolina.
At this point, Florida will have enough recruits from the state of Georgia to stage dance offs in every end zone on every field in Georgia.
