Earlier today, Neil Shulman published his predictions regarding where Florida’s top remaining targets will go. Now, I’m enhancing our coverage of the pre-Signing Day mania by laying out my final projected class for 2018, including all recruits that have already signed in December.
Do note that Neil and I have several different projections.
Already signed:
QB Emory Jones
DB Amari Burney
DB Trey Dean
RB Dameon Pierce
RB Iverson Clement
OT Noah Banks
OT Chris Bleich
DB Randy Russell (will not participate in football activities for medical reasons)
TE Kyle Pitts
TE Dante Lang
DB John Huggins
LB David Reese
K Evan McPherson
Projected Signees on February 7th:
OT Richard Gouraige: already committed and I truly think he sticks.
WR Justin Watkins: Watkins, who has previously been committed to LSU, FSU and Texas, committed to Florida on his official visit a few weeks ago.
OC Griffin McDowell: he flipped to Florida from Mississippi State recently.
WR Jacob Copeland: he certainly has a passion for dramatics, but his heart is and always was in Gainesville.
DE Malik Langham: As of just yesterday, he was a solid to Alabama. Now he’s trending up for Florida and it seems to be a good sign.
DE Andrew Chatfield: this one is close, but Florida has been trending up in the last couple of days and I’m hearing he’s all Florida.
DE Caleb Tannor: Auburn seems to have bowed out. It’s a Nebraska and Florida battle and I think the Gators come out on top.
DB Noah Boykin: Boykin de-committed from Maryland shortly after his official visit to Florida last month and you’d have to be foolish to think he’s headed anywhere else.
DE Caleb Johnson: Gators have been on his mind most recently and I believe that’s what will be on his mind on Wednesday.
DT Nesta Silvera: I believe based on what I’m hearing, we get the coveted flip.
