Mike White’s 2021 recruiting class is off to a great start.
Kowacie Reeves (Macon, GA) has committed to Florida. Reeves, a highly sought after four star, also earned offers from North Carolina, Texas, Auburn, Georgia and Seton Hall, among others.
This commitment might have something to do with loyalty. The Gators were the first to offer Reeves- two years ago, during his freshman year of high school. Florida was also the first school to host him on an official visit, last fall, when Reeves and over 90,000 other folks watched the Gator football team take down Auburn in the Swamp on homecoming weekend.
A versatile combo guard, Kowacie Reeves can simply make things happen. He’s an extremely gifted athlete and a dead-eye shooter who can also create for himself, and because of this will be very difficult to keep off the floor as a freshman. Rivals has him listed as the #35 player in the 2021 class, while 247Sports has him ranked as the 67th best prospect.

For whatever else there is to say about White, the man knows how to recruit top tier talent.
