Florida has landed its first commitment following its Friday Night Lights camp- and more could be on the way in the coming days and weeks.
Three star QB Anthony Richardson tweeted out his decision to become a Gator:
You can check out his highlights here.
Richardson also held offers from Louisville, Boston College, Virginia Tech and South Florida. He committed after taking his third visit to Gainesville since May, becoming the third commitment for the Gators’ 2020 class, after Keyvone Lee and Josh Griffis.
But Dan Mullen and his staff are not likely to be finished landing commitments after a night that all involved in it spoke highly of. Prized DE Lloyd Summerall had a great time and is one to keep an eye on, despite many FSU insiders feeling confident about him, and Mississippi LB commit Diwun Black was impressed enough that he admitted the Gators were a “close second,” something that commits who truly believe their commitment will stick don’t normally say.
