As was once the case before the creation of the Early Signing Period, National Signing Day means something for the Florida Gators once again. Thanks to a new head coach in Billy Napier scrambling to clean up the mess that Dan Mullen started on the recruiting trail in an extremely short time window, the Florida Gators once again have a lot of activity to look forward to on the traditional National Signing Day in February.
This time around, though, the fun isn’t limited to the first Wednesday in February. Nope- that fun starts today.
The Gators have several prospects still on the board, two of which will be announcing their college decisions today. Below, you’ll find a list of all the scheduled commitment times of players on Florida’s board- and as the next 24+ hours progress and decisions are announced, this page will be updated to include the new information as it is rolled out.
Here were the final In All Kinds Of Weather predictions.

Looks like we’ve got some pretty heavy disagreements with the #Gators’ biggest targets… what do y’all think? pic.twitter.com/TLXPmQfF3w
(Note: All times listed below are Eastern time. Also, I personally abhor the star ranking system, but because many disagree with me on this I’ve included the 247 Sports Composite ranking beside the players’ names.)
Tuesday 2:00pm: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ WR DJ Allen, Gladewater HS (TX): deciding between Florida and TCU. As I predicted on the In All Kinds Of Weather Forecast, Allen has chosen TCU.
Tuesday 3:30pm: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ DE Jack Pyburn, The Bolles School (Jax): deciding between Florida, Auburn, and Miami. As both my IAKOW Forecast co-host Dustin and I both predicted, Pyburn has chosen Florida. You can watch the video of the announcement here.
Wednesday 7:25am: Jack Pyburn has made it official, and sent in his letter of intent.
Wednesday 9:00am: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ OL Jalen Farmer, Eastside HS (GA): Farmer is a current Florida commit and is expected to sign his LOI to Florida without any complications. UPDATE 9:48am: as expected, Farmer has signed with Florida, calling UF “the best fit.”
Wednesday 9:00am: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ (Florida commit) ATH Miguel Mitchell, Oxford HS (AL) is scheduled to sign his letter of intent. And he has done so. Welcome aboard, Miguel!
Wednesday 9:00am: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (Florida commit) RB Trevor Etienne, Jennings HS (LA) is scheduled to sign his letter of intent. UPDATE 10:58am: Etienne has officially signed his letter of intent. Welcome aboard, Trevor!
Wednesday 9:30am: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ (Florida commit) TE Hayden Hansen, Weatherford HS (TX) is scheduled to sign his letter of intent. And he has. Welcome aboard, Hayden!
Wednesday 11:30am: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ DL Caden Story, Lanett HS (AL): deciding between Florida, Auburn, and Clemson. UPDATE 11:04am: Story has chosen to play for Clemson.
Wednesday 11:45am ⭐️⭐️⭐️ DL Andrew Savaiinaea, Graham-Kapowsin (WA) is scheduled to sign his letter of intent. UPDATE: …and he has. Welcome aboard, Andrew!
Wednesday 12:00n: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ RB Tre’Vonte Citizen, Lake Charles HS (LA): deciding between Florida, LSU, Miami, and Auburn. UPDATE 12:30pm: we’ve got our first Signing Day shocker (sort of). Citizen has chosen to play for the Miami Hurricanes.
Wednesday 12:30pm: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ (Florida commit) QB Max Brown, Lincoln HS (Tulsa) is scheduled to send in his letter of intent. UPDATE: and he has. Welcome aboard, Max!
Wednesday 12:30pm: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ (Florida commit) LB Bryce Capers, Riverside HS (Jax) is scheduled to make it official to Florida as a preferred walk-on. And he has. Welcome aboard, Bryce!
Wednesday 1:20pm: offensive line transfer O’Cyrus Torrence (from Louisiana) has signed with Florida.
Wednesday 1:30pm: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ DL Shemar Stewart, Monsignor Pace HS (FL): deciding between Georgia, Texas A&M, and Miami. There’s no realistic shot Florida lands Stewart, but his announcement is worth paying attention to for a different reason. Stewart is very close with LB Harold Perkins, a prospect that Florida does have a real shot at. It’s possible that Stewart and Perkins could be a package deal, so where Stewart chooses to go is relevant. UPDATE: Stewart goes to Texas A&M, where Perkins was once committed. The latest buzz with Perkins is LSU, but this is worth keeping in mind.
UPDATE 2:15pm: cornerback transfer Jalen Kimber (from Georgia) has signed with Florida.
Wednesday 2:20pm: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ WR Caleb Douglas, Hightower HA (TX): deciding between Florida and Baylor. UPDATE 2:50pm: it took about a half hour longer than many expected, but Caleb Douglas did indeed announce his intentions to play for Florida.
Now the two really big fish- Perkins and Matthews- are up next. I’ve projected both to go to LSU, while In All Kinds Of Weather contributor Dustin Smith has projected Florida to land them both.
Wednesday 4:30pm: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ LB Harold Perkins, Cy Park HS (TX): for those who don’t follow recruiting aside from on National Signing Day, this is the big one. Perkins is deciding between Florida, LSU, and Texas A&M. UPDATE: Perkins has committed to LSU.
Wednesday 7:00pm: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ S Jacoby Matthews, Ponchatoula HS (LA): deciding between Florida, LSU, and Texas A&M. UPDATE: Matthews has chosen Texas A&M, in a bit of a surprise.
TBD: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ ATH Arlis Boardingham, Birmingham HS (Van Nuys, CA): deciding between Florida, Oregon, Arizona State, and USC.
