Florida is going to lose several key offensive linemen next year to the NFL. But the Gators just gained one next year- a good one.
Four star offensive lineman William Harrod (Fort Washington, MD) has committed to Florida, just two days after visiting the Swamp for the season opening 53-6 win over Charleston Southern. Harrod also had offers from Michigan, FSU, Georgia, LSU, Ohio State, Oklahoma and Tennessee.
Harrod’s commitment is the latest development in a class that’s started out slow, but is now rapidly picking up steam.
Since Riley Simonds made the move in late June, Florida has more than doubled its class, racking up eight more commitments in a class that had only six prior to that point. Along with linebackers Diwun Black and Mohamoud Diabate, Harrod serves as an excellent pickup at a position of need.
