A week ago, I rolled out the first of a few changes that I promised would come to the site: our Big Board, where you can track the statuses of every recruit Florida is even somewhat interested in. Today, it’s time to unveil its sibling page: the Activity Timeline. You can access the Activity Timeline either by clicking on the blue hyperlink at the end of the last sentence, or by going to the “Recruiting” tab on the main menu, hovering over it and clicking “Activity Timeline” from the drop down.
The Activity Timeline is where you’ll want to go to check for all the updates regarding the Gators’ activity on the recruiting trail. (Hence the name!) The Big Board will still be used to keep the master list of all the recruits on the Gators’ radar, and updated whenever there’s a change in a player’s status, but the Activity Timeline will be where all the analysis will be kept. In other words, keep checking both, as the Activity Timeline will reference the Big Board whenever there is a change of any kind. Its chief purpose is to serve as a kind of ticker that you can scroll down to keep tabs on what happened on the recruiting trail when, and thus everything is listed in chronological order from most recent to longest ago.
And best of all: it’s 100% free.
Hopefully, there are still a couple more new site features that will be added in this recruiting cycle, but if not then they’ll for sure be ready by this time 2017 recruiting heats up. So keep your eyes peeled for those, and enjoy the Big Board and Activity Timeline in the meantime…
