It’s still very early in the 2018 cycle, but wow, what a Class of 2019 Jim McElwain is putting together.
The prize catch this time is consensus four star wide receiver Maurice Goolsby. The Dunnellon prospect boasts an endless offer list that includes FSU, USC, Auburn, Clemson, Tennessee, Georgia and Miami, and committed to the Gators after naming them his leader last August. In doing so, Goolsby becomes the second Gator commitment in the past 48 hours.
Goolsby becomes the seventh commit for the Class of 2019, joining a star studded class that includes fellow receivers Frank Ladson and John Dunmore. All seven are from central or south Florida, which is a testament to the efforts of Kerry Dixon and newly appointed defensive coordinator Randy Shannon.
