A big problem for recent Gator offenses is that they just don’t have that tall playmaker who can really climb the ladder and make the play for you.
Well, now they do. At least verbally.
Meet Kalif Jackson, a 6’5 receiver from Jacksonville who’s built more like a tight end. He could be a huge red zone threat for the Gators, and appears to be a great fit for Kurt Roper’s new offense as the dependable fate route target.
Despite losing several commits over the past week or so, Florida’s starting to gain them back. Jackson’s first, and watch out for a few more to come in the ensuing days and weeks.
